Ikot - Abasi Volunteer Network for Charity, Peace & Development ‘IAVN’ is a Non for non-profit organization {NGO} that Promotes Charitable Purposes for the benefit of the communities. Contribute to peace and development in local communities through volunteering and promote the involvement of the community in volunteering. In virtually all areas where there is a need, e.g. for health care, children with disabilities, elderly people who are unable to take care of themselves.
We are also into Community Development with the help of grants and donations, Providing Succor to school Children to better their lives and for them to have a sense of belonging in society, helping them with school shoes, Bags, and Umbrellas to enable them to be in school with or without rain.
Volunteers in our organization are those who participate in Humanitarian, Charitable, or civic service with little or no compensation. They devote their time to helping the organizations and often choose the hours in which they work. Volunteers can help assist in basic administrative, fundraising, and social service tasks.
Our Volunteers provide their services for almost free when needed; they don't receive benefits for their non-profit work.

Ikot-Abasi Volunteer Network for Charity Peace & Development is an independent organization that engages the community for the good of the community to capitalize on the power of volunteers and volunteer acts.
Trustees serve as the organization's governing body, staff, and volunteers.
On a local level, we provide for a wide range of human needs and contribute to developing caring communities.
On an International level, members take to volunteering opportunities that focus on collaborating with local communities to provide support where needed most.
These may be trip experiences that uplift individuals, local economies, and natural environments worldwide.
Our Mission
To coordinate, control, proactive, effective, and responsive volunteer systems for raising living standards and quality of life for people and to hasten global social, economic, and cultural development by concentrating on developmental projects and advocacy, thereby promoting individual causes while helping those in need, deserving causes, and the community.
Aims
The Ikot-Abasi Volunteer Network for Charity, Peace & Development 'IAVN' aims to promote charitable purposes, foster peace, and drive local community development through volunteerism. 'IAVN' is committed to engaging and mobilizing volunteers to contribute their time and effort for the betterment of communities, with a focus on healthcare, support for children with disabilities, and assistance to elderly individuals in need. Additionally, 'IAVN' seeks to enhance school children's educational experience and well-being by providing essential items like school shoes, bags, umbrellas, etc.
Objectives
Volunteer Mobilization: 'IAVN' seeks to recruit, train, and coordinate volunteers who are passionate about contributing their time and skills to humanitarian, charitable, and civic causes. Volunteers will be encouraged to assist with various administrative, fundraising, and social service activities.
Resource Mobilization: To secure grants and donations that will enable 'IAVN' to carry out its charitable and community development initiatives effectively. These include seeking financial support and in-kind contributions from individuals, organizations, and institutions.
